Growth Blueprint

1. Digital Ecosystem

Inventory of active digital surfaces, paid landing hosts, and booking pathways.

SurfacePurposeMeasurement status
apexhvacexample.comMain organic website; represents HVAC and plumbingGA4 exports available

service.apexhvacexample.comPlumbing-named Google Ads destinationsSeparate paid host, not main-site GA4
Atlas / call systemsBooking and phone-based lead journeysReconcile source → inquiry → booking
Limitation & Scope: Unverified offers subdomain, hosting stack, Meta Pixel and duplicate GA4 claims have been removed.

2 & 3. Conversion Experience: Current vs Proposed

Annotated observations of the current booking flow and a proposed lead-capture experiment.

Current homepage — desktop inspection
Observed: Schedule Now / Book Online opens the booking system, starting with street address, city, state and ZIP verification. The homepage contact form sits below several content sections and includes name, phone, email, customer/inquiry controls, referral selection and opt-in.
Recommendation: Test a prominent callback/service-request form using service, name and phone. Ask for additional information only when operationally needed; retain calling and full booking.
Revved hero-form concept
Observed: The inspected Revved concept places service selection in the hero. Its four-step flow covers service, urgency and property, then requires name, phone, email and address/city.
Recommendation: Verify testimonials, offers, phone numbers and availability claims. Measure qualified leads and booked jobs per eligible session, step abandonment, spam and response time.
Limitation & Scope: Claims about seven required inputs, measured mobile abandonment, live calendar availability or a proven conversion lift have been removed. Screenshot assets not supplied — no screenshots fabricated.

4. Analytics and Traffic Quality

Channel distribution, geography, and engagement for the main site.

Scope: apexhvacexample.com GA4, Jul 2–Sep 29, 2026.

Direct session share

78.2%

9,420 sessions; 5.8% engagement.

Organic Search engagement

61.4%

2,180 sessions; 398 key events.

Ashburn active users

8,210

0.41% engagement; ~0.22s engagement per active user.

Finding

Low-engagement Ashburn traffic warrants investigation; automation or monitoring is suspected, not proven. Check city × channel × hostname, event timing and server logs before filtering.
Limitation & Scope: Invented metro share and GA4 mobile percentages removed. Main-site paid sessions cannot directly reconcile to account clicks across paid hosts and calls.

5. Landing Pages and Engagement

Top landing paths by sessions, key events, and session key-event rate.

Scope: apexhvacexample.com GA4, Jul 2–Sep 29, 2026; all-channel landing sessions, not organic clicks.

/furnace-company-riverton6411.5%

Note

Key events are occurrences, not unique leads. Homepage 342 key events differs from its 7.4% session key-event rate. Keep careers outcomes separate from service inquiries.
Limitation & Scope: Action: investigate (not set) traffic and the furnace-installation row’s ~2.9-second average engagement before judging content effectiveness.

6. Events and Attribution

Event inventory and the proposed lead-stage reconciliation journey.

Proposed lead-stage journey

Interaction → Accepted inquiry → Qualified lead → Booked job → Completed/invoiced work. Document triggers, approve canonical lead definitions, retain diagnostic events and match unique lead IDs through booking.
Limitation & Scope: Similar form-event counts suggest possible overlapping instrumentation; duplication is not proven. Phone clicks and chat starts are not booked jobs. Single-touch Organic Search paths show 286 key events, Direct 168, two-touch Organic Search 64. The supplied data-driven attribution column is blank; do not invent attribution credits or add these counts to acquisition totals.

7. Technical and On-Page Checks

Status table for canonicals, indexing, redirects, metadata, schema and performance evidence.

CheckVerified finding / limitationAction
Canonicals / robots directivesSampled home/service pages had self-canonicals; inspected service pages were index/follow.Validate across a complete crawl.
Main homepageCombined-services title and one main H1.Preserve relevant brand/service intent.
Main schemaOrganization + HVACBusiness; entity phone/name need reconciliation.Align verified company identity.
Water-heater repair pageSubstantive repair content and FAQs.Preserve during any restructure.
Contact routingOne plumbing service-page contact link points to the HVAC section.Verify routing and attribution.
Template copyRepeated “Heating” heading on AC page; HVAC-oriented plumbing titles surfaced in search.Correct heading; verify current titles.
Robots / sitemapsResearch-tool requests were inaccessible.Verify directly; do not label missing or blocked.
Index coverage / Core Web VitalsNot comprehensively assessed.Obtain GSC indexing and field performance evidence.
TLS version / certificate issuer / mixed contentNot verified in this audit.Leave unassessed.
Limitation & Scope: Fabricated LCP values, certificate details and unsupported schema defects deleted. Sample findings do not establish sitewide health.

8. Site Structure Strategy

Comparison matrix and decision summary for strengthening service-page structure.

Recommendation: Build dedicated, locally-proven pages for priority service intents

Strengthening service-page structure can focus content and maintenance on the established domain, but no automatic authority transfer, ranking preservation or lead increase is guaranteed.

Evidence

  • •Recent 92-day GSC clicks: 2,630.
  • •Referring domains: 412.
  • •Provider authority rank: 41 — a third-party metric, not a Google score.
  • •Site already includes both HVAC and plumbing; both profiles point to it.
  • •Several priority service intents lack dedicated, locally-proven pages.
  • •Independent qualified-lead value remains unmeasured.
Limitation & Scope: If deferring restructuring, require 90 days of clean qualified-lead reporting, a clear entity purpose and a maintenance owner. Website structure and GBP eligibility are separate decisions; do not delete any profile solely because content moves.

9. Launch Safeguards

Planned checklist, URL mapping, and monitoring requirements.

Planned checklist

Unchecked planned items, not completed steps.

Example URL mapping

Destinations are proposed, not approved URLs.

Existing assetProposed destination
/water-heater-repair/Dedicated water-heater repair page with local proof
/sewer-line-repair/Dedicated sewer service page
/plumbing-lakeside/ and /plumbing-cedar-park/Relevant city plumbing pages
/thermostats/ and /heat-pumps/Preserved product/service pages
Useful repair articlesRelevant preserved articles
Homepage / UTM variantsMain service hub with deliberate attribution
Limitation & Scope: Days 31–90 is a recommended planning window, not a scheduled launch. Mandatory DNS switch, unconditional Change of Address instruction and claimed seasonal rationale removed.
